I was contacted by the lovely team at Nutribuddy to trial their 14 day weightloss kit*, in return for an honest review of the products. I have my graduation coming up in September, so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try and shift a few more pounds before the big day. Having tried out various 'diets' previously, I've since vowed to stay away from drastic measures of trying to lose weight as I see it as very unhealthy long term, so I made sure I did a lot of research beforehand about Nutribuddy before agreeing to take part and decided that because safety was their main ethos I would give the kit a try.
I was very impressed that all of their products are suitable for vegetarians and vegans, apart from the sculpting whey as it contains milk, but what impressed me most about the company was the efforts they take to ensure the ingredients are safe for consumption and the use of clinical trials to back up the effectiveness of the core ingredients used in their products. Where possible, the ingredients used in Nutribuddy products are GMP certified which means that the ingredients are of the highest quality and safe for human consumption. I've heard some horror stories of other brands using ingredients that haven't been approved and therefore, how safe the products actually were was an unknown variable, which is what has put me off similar products in the past.

Nutribuddy don't use necessary bulking agents or fillers in their products and use only natural ingredients, including natural flavourings, contributing to the safeness of the products and also making them a lot healthier than others on the market. All products are non-GMO and the whey protein, a by-product of cheese production, comes from grass fed cows. The effectiveness of the products have been rigorously tested and the core ingredients used are backed up by scientific research.  Excessive levels of caffeine and other stimulants are avoided in all Nutribuddy products, which is another factor which makes Nutribuddy a lot better for you than other similar products on the market, in my opinion.

There are a variety of weightloss kits available to purchase including a 7, 14 and 30 day supply, which retail at £24.99, £34.99 and £62.99, respectively. However, all components of the weightloss kit are available to purchase individually. The kits contain, sculpting whey (vanilla or chocolate), hunger fix capsules, multivitamins, recipe book, weightloss guide and a shaker bottle (red or black).

1) Sculpting Whey // £14.99-£31.99

Sculpting whey is high in whey protein which is good for toning and muscle building. It also contains natural weightloss aids such as green tea, guarana and chromium, which help boost your metabolism and reduce hunger, whilst assisting with fat burning. A sculpting whey shake is very low in calories (115 per serving) whilst being incredibly filling too, so it can either be used as a meal or snack replacement. In the 'little book of weightloss' that comes with the weightloss kit, it states that the sculpting whey is best used as a snack replacement, so you can still enjoy 3 healthy meals a day! A shake consists of 30g of sculpting whey powder and there is a handy scoop included in the pack which helps you quickly weigh out the correct amount needed without all the washing up! The 30g of powder should be mixed with 300ml of milk or water.

2) Hunger Fix // £8.99-24.99

These little capsules contain glucomannan, which is a natural plant extract from the konjac plant. These capsules help to suppress your appetite, making you feel full as they take up space in your stomach. Clinical studies have concluded that glucomannan is an effective weight loss aid, but its important to take the capsules with 1-2 glasses of water 15 minutes to 1 hour before food consumption. How to use the capsules is outlined in the 'little book of weightloss' and states that you can either the 1-2 capsules before breakfast, lunch and dinner, but it is important to note that no more than 6 capsules should be consumed per day.

3) Multivitamins // £6.99-14.99

These multivitamins contain vitamins and minerals in the correct dosage comply with the recommended daily allowance. They have a lot of great health benefits including, maintaining healthy skin, eyes and nervous system, strengthening the immune system, reducing tiredness and fatigue, help ing the body to release energy effectively from food, blocking carbohydrates and producing healthy blood cells, via the inclusion of vitamins E, A, B, and Zinc and Copper. Just 1 of these tablets is required daily and can be taken at any time of day!

4) Recipe Book // £5.99

This recipe book is a great addition to the weightloss kits and contains lots of inspirational meals to eat whilst on the plan, in order to achieve the best results. There are a variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner ideas whilst also containing some shake and treat recipes too which include the use of the sculpting whey. Some of the recipes that I am planning on making whilst on the plan is the chicken and chorizo jambalaya, prawn curry, oaty fruit cookies and oat breakfast bars, to name just a few!

5) Shaker Bottle // £4.99

The shaker bottle can be ordered in either black or red and is dishwasher safe! The bottle is also BPA-free and comes with a metal ball which helps to blend the shake making it smooth.

The weightloss kits also contain the 'little book of weightloss' which is a guide telling you exactly how best to do the plan in order to achieve the best results. It outlines, in detail, how each product works and how you should use each product, so its definitely worth buying the kit rather than the products individually so you can get this too! The kits are also great value as well!

The kit was delivered very quickly and the packaging is very eye-catching! The shaker bottle is a great size and also has a very secure lid so it won't spill when you're on the move! I'm really looking forward to trying out the kit and will update you all on how I got on with it and my results in 2 weeks so make sure you're following my blog so you don't miss is!
