I used to always struggle to find skincare products I liked and that worked for me because I have combination skin. Some parts of my face are quite oily, like my T-Zone but then some parts are as dry as the Sahara desert. I think i've finally found a selection of products that work for me so I thought i'd share them with you guys!

I usually use an oil-based cleanser like The Body Shop Chamomile Cleanser in the evenings to remove the bulk of my makeup, so in the mornings I only need to use a micellar water to remove any remaining debris. I've only ever tried two micellar waters previously, the L'Oreal 3 in 1 Micellar Water one and the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and both of them worked just as well as each other,  but for the price and the volume you just can't beat the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, and I managed to pick it up for just £3.00 in Boots recently!? I just swipe the product all over my face on a cotton pad (tip: the BEST cotton pads are from Wilko and are just 50p!!) and the micelles attract impurities lifting out any dirt/remaining makeup on my face.

Next, I apply some of the Pixi Glow Tonic onto a cotton pad and swipe this over my face, before spraying some La Roche-Posay Serozinc, to replenish moisture. The Pixi Glow Tonic is an exfoliating toner which removes dead skin cells and leaves your complexion looking clearer and brighter. This product has really helped to reduce my redness, however, it does sting quite a bit if applied on broken skin, so just be warned! After using the Pixi Glow Tonic, I do feel like i've sucked all of the moisture out of my skin so I like to go in with Serozinc. The Serozinc is also a toner, but it contains Zinc Sulphate, hence the name, which targets blemishes and prevents excess oiliness, perfect for my skin!

Recently, I've been using the Dr. Organic Royal Jelly Eye Serum under my eyes to combat my dark circles and mask my sleepless nights! Its light in formula so it is absorbed quickly into the skin and helps to reduce puffiness. The amino acids and plant hormones in the Royal Jelly help to reduce fine lines and boost collagen stability. I also really like the packaging and the nib of the tube means that you can only squeeze out a small amount, which is all you need so there's less waste!

The Urban Veda Soothing Day Cream is my moisturiser of choice because it contains botanical ingredients with anti-inflammatory properties to calm the skin, balance excess sebum and fight the effects of fatigue due to environmental factors. This is definitely one to try if you have dry skin but just make sure you like the smell of Sandalwood first, because it has quite a pungent fragrance! (FYI I don't like the smell at all).

Is there anything missing from my skincare routine?
