Apologies for the lack of posts recently, third year of University really is as stressful as people make it out to be and I just became overwhelmed with assignments so I thought I'd take a bit of time off from posting regularly and concentrate on my work!

Ever since starting University 3 years ago I've always had trouble sleeping and i've finally got 3 things that make me sleep like a baby...

1) Scentered Stress Less Therapy Balm // £14.50

I received this product in a You Beauty Discovery Box a few months ago and since I got it i've been using it religiously before bed. It contains Chamomile, Neroli and Mandarin and also, Shea Butter to ensure a greasy residue is not left on the skin. I think the ritual of applying the balm to my wrists and temples really calms me down before bed time and also the scent lingers for a long time so when i'm trying to fall asleep I can smell it constantly and it soothes my worrying. The balm also comes in a 'Sleep Well' scent which is actually formulated to aid sleep, which contains Palmarosa, Lavender and Ylang Ylang, however, I think the Stress Less Balm works just as well but I might try this one next because mines nearly finished now *sad face*

2) This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Spray // £16.00 75ml

I've already written a post about this pillow spray so I won't repeat myself, but I think this is the product which makes me have a really good, deep sleep and prevents me from waking multiple times throughout the night. I spray the product all over my pillow and the top of my duvet so I can inhale the scent whilst trying to get to sleep.

3) Sleep Cycle App // £1.49

This app, available for iPhone and Android, analyses your sleeping pattern and wakes you up during your light sleep, which mimics waking up naturally and reduces that groggy feeling of waking up to a harsh alarm. Sleep cycle uses sound analysis to monitor your sleeping pattern and you can predefine a 30 minute slot to wake up in. The app saves all of your sleep results so you can view different graphs and analyses to see whether your sleep is improving, which I think is really cool.

So there's my 3 things which help me sleep better, do you have trouble sleeping?
