Mac Studio Sculpt Dupe

I have always been a long time lover of the Mac studio sculpt foundation due to its full coverage and matte finish with the added bonus of SPF. This foundation glides seamlessly over my skin giving me a flawless finish which lasts all day- something I have struggled to find with other high-end foundations. This foundation retails at £25.00 for 40ml, which isn't too pricey considering the cost of other high-end foundation such as Dior, Chanel etc.

However, I recently tried out the new L'oreal Infallible 24H- Matte foundation and I have to say this is fast becoming my favourite foundation. The L'oreal foundation has a gel-like consistency which is very similar to the Mac studio sculpt foundation. Both of these foundations have a matte finish and have great lasting power, especially if paired with a powder. The L'oreal foundation retails at £7.99 for 35ml which is a bargain. The only real difference is that the Mac foundation contains SPF15 and the L'oreal foundation doesn't contain any but I just use a separate, higher SPF before I apply my base makeup. I wear shade 11, vanilla, in the L'oreal foundation and NW20 in the Mac foundation. Also, The Mac foundation comes in a wider range of shades, whereas I think the L'oreal shade selection is quite limited, especially for darker skin tones, however for me the shade Vanilla is a great match.

Therefore, I think its safe to say the L'oreal Infallible 24H-matte is a great drugstore dupe for Mac Studio Sculpt.

I'm keen to try out the other L'oreal Infallible foundation to see if it compares to any other foundations I have in my collection.

Have you tried any of the new L'oreal Infallible foundations yet?
