I received Destination Norwich* last week and I've been itching to play it since then! On Sunday, me and my family were finally all together so I thought it was the perfect time to play the game. The game can be played with up to 6 people, and with there only being 5 of us, we had a spare taxi.
At first, it took quite a long time to set the game up... there are multiple packs of cards to use during the game and money so everything had to be unwrapped and sorted before we began.

For those of you unfamiliar with the company, Prairie Charms create bespoke jewellery and accessories, which can all be purchased from their online shop (here). They've developed a Pizzazz box which has a different theme each time and contains a variety of different items, from jewellery to wax tarts. I was approached by the company asking if I wanted to be involved in designing items for the Christmas edition, along with a lot of other bloggers. I thought it was a fab idea and of course said I'd love to be involved. I received the Enchanted edition a few weeks ago and was amazed at how pretty everything looked. However, on reflection I was slightly disappointed in the quality of some of the pieces...

Apologies for the lack of posts recently, third year of University really is as stressful as people make it out to be and I just became overwhelmed with assignments so I thought I'd take a bit of time off from posting regularly and concentrate on my work!

This is probably the post you've all been waiting for and here it is! Finally! A few Saturdays ago I was lucky enough to attend the Suffolk Blogger Event (read my post about the day here) where we received this amaaaaaaazing goody bag filled to the brim with an array of different products. There was a lovely selection of brands which contributed to the event, some of which I had previously heard of and some which were new to me, so I was very excited and grateful to have the opportunity to try some new things out.

A few weeks ago I attended the Norwich Bloggers event hosted by three lovely bloggers Hannah, Justine and Courtney, at the Aroma Café on Upper King Street, Norwich. I'd never been to the venue before but it was a lovely café/bar with the most amazing cocktails on offer! There were many floors to the venue and one of the rooms had been hired out entirely for the Norwich Blogger meet.

On Saturday, I had the pleasure of meeting the director of the company Ivy Joan at the Suffolk Blogger Meet. There were so many pieces showcased at the event that I 'Ooohed' and 'Aaaahed' over that I decided create a separate post entirely dedicated to their wonderful and unique homeware. I'm hoping that i'll be able to fill mine and my boyfriends new home with lots of these items, especially the christmas decorations as it will be our first christmas together in our new home and I cannot contain my excitement! Eeeeek!

On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending my first ever blogging event hosted by the lovely Daisy  in Bury St Edmunds at The LP. The LP is a restaurant/bar/music venue and Daisy has hired the top floor  so it was the perfect location to hold a bloggers event as the room was very spacious and allowed us to mingle.

You Beauty Discovery Box | October 2015

You Beauty Discovery October 2015
Revlon Colour stay Gel Envy Pocket Aces

I didn't write about last months box because I wasn't overwhelmed with the contents, but this month… its a different story!

September Favourites

September Favourites

There's been so many things i've loved this month that they all wouldn't fit in the picture so I had to narrow it down to my ultimate favourites..

1) Beauty Blender and Solid Cleanser

I've wanted to try a Beauty Blender for what seems like forever so I was delighted when I received one with my Birchbox subscription. I dampen the sponge before I use it and my foundation and concealer is blended so seamlessly, its completely changed how my makeup looks. The solid cleanser it came with works brilliantly! I've never used a product which completely removed foundation from a makeup sponge, apart from this! I spent about 30 seconds cleaning this Beauty Blender and it looks as good as new.

Favourite Autumn Nail Combo

No7 Temptress
No7 Temptress, Gel Look Shine Top Coat

These two beauties have got to be my all time favourite nail combination to wear in the colder months. It's now officially Autumn (not that you'd be able to tell though because these past few days have been scorching!) which means its time to ditch the pretty pastels and wear a darker, more grungy looking shade.

I was recently lucky enough to win the Neäl & Wølf Summer Solstice Collection in a giveaway hosted on Instagram by the company.

Happy 5th Birthday Birchbox! | September 2015

September Birhcbox UK 2015

This month was Birchboxs' 5th Birthday! It's crazy to think that Birchbox has been going for 5 years- seeing as i've only just subscribed, but i'm not surprised it has because it's such a great beauty box. If you're not already familiar with Birchbox (which i'm sure most of you are) it's a monthly subscription box which costs £10 + £2.95pp per month. Within the box is 5 deluxe samples from well known brands and also some from up and coming brands that are less familiar.

The Love/Hate Tag...

This is a new type of post for me, but it's such a great way for people to get to know me better! I was tagged by the lovely Emily and even though i'm writing this a few weeks late *slaps wrist* definitely go and check out her post aswell!

Natural Bamboo Eco-Friendly 10-piece Makeup Brush Set | Groupon

I received this brush set for my Birthday in May and since then i've found myself reaching for these brushes instead of my Real techniques ones, which is saying something! I've never really steered away from Real Techniques brushes because they were great quality and relatively inexpensive.. until I found this set!

You Beauty Discovery Box | August 2015

This months' You Beauty Discovery Box was Summer Essentials themed, so, as expected it contained products that would be ideal for the summer or a vacation. I received this box just before I left for my holiday in early August so it was perfect timing. I was on the ball this month and managed to pick my products as soon as I got the email telling me what was on offer so nothing had sold out (phew!).

Disappointing Products | #1

This is going to be the first post in my disappointing products series, in which I talk about products I regret buying and ultimately don't think are worth the money.

P.S Love...Egg Makeup Sponge

I picked up this makeup sponge recently whilst I was in Primark and I thought I would try it out and see if it rivals my current favourite. I currently use the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge and I love it, however, recently I've found it difficult to use because pieces keep breaking off and it has become quite clogged with foundation (even though I was it regularly), so I though it's about time I get a new one.

You Beauty Discovery Box | July 2015

I went through a phase last year where I was obsessed with receiving monthly beauty boxes in the post, however, spending £12.95 a month on a box filled with products didn't seem worthwhile when all I was receiving was copious amount of moisturiser and hand creams, so I unsubscribed.

The Girl On The Train

Whilst on holiday in Cornwall in early June I bought this book on a whim after a few too many rainy days. I was overwhelmed by the amount of books available in WHSmith and didn't recognise many of the titles or authors so I went for the easy option and purchased the number 1 best seller, The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. After reading the blurb, I wasn't sure if this was the sort of book I would like because it was described as a thriller- and I'm a total wimp when it comes to horror!

Mac Studio Sculpt Dupe

I have always been a long time lover of the Mac studio sculpt foundation due to its full coverage and matte finish with the added bonus of SPF. This foundation glides seamlessly over my skin giving me a flawless finish which lasts all day- something I have struggled to find with other high-end foundations. This foundation retails at £25.00 for 40ml, which isn't too pricey considering the cost of other high-end foundation such as Dior, Chanel etc.

Deep Sleep Pillow Spray | Limited Edition.

The thisworks Deep Sleep Pillow Spray has become one of those products I can't seem to live without and after finishing another bottle of the original 75ml Deep Sleep Pillow Spray I knew I needed to repurchase it. When I was on their website, I discovered a giant bottle of the stuff in limited edition floral packaging. Now, at £30 a pop it is definitely an 'investment' product.
