Cup O'Coffee Face Mask Lush

When I hear the word 'Lush' I automatically think 'Bath' but i've recently been trying out a fairly new product and I love it! I've always loved Lush as a brand, especially their bath bombs but I've not heard much about their skincare products before. I have previously used the Mask of Magnaminty face mask before and I enjoyed using that but apart from that i've steered clear of others from the brand.

The Cup O'Coffee face and body mask is an invigorating mask which contains ingredients like roasted cocoa extract, vetivert and coriander oil, giving the product a lovely coffee aroma. The mask doesn't exactly smell like a pot of fresh coffee but it definitely has a similar smell and you can really smell the sweetness of the Agave Syrup.

This mask is great as an exfoliator too because it contains ground coffee particles which really work at removing any dead skin cells on the face. I wouldn't recommend this product if you have particularly sensitive skin though, because the coffee particles can be quite abrasive!

I try to use this face mask once a week, if I remember, in the morning so it can really wake up my skin and help me feel rejuvenated! The product can be used as a body mask too, but I have never used it on anywhere else other than my face and I don't think I will in the future either because the product is quite expensive for the size of the pot and I think covering your entire body would be a waste- the product retails at £6.75 for 150g!

What I like most about this face mask is that it doesn't need to be kept in the fridge unlike the fresh face masks that Lush sells! I am quite lazy when it comes to pampering myself so I very rarely use up an entire face mask and definitely not in the short amount of time you should use one of the fresh face masks up!

This mask leaves my skin feeling a lot more smooth and clearer and also feels soft to the touch! I apply quite a thick layer and leave it one for 10-15 minutes and then use a muslin cloth to remove it.. be warned though it can be rather messy!

Have you tried the Cup O'coffee face mask?

  3. I'm not a humongous lover of coffee scented things so the fact it only smells slightly similar is a good thing for me. I'm really tempted to buy this purely for the fact that it doesn't need to be kept in the fridge like the other masks! x

    1. You can definitely tell its supposed to smell like coffee but its not very strong :) I used it again this morning and my skin feels so soft now! Yeah thats one of the main reasons I bought it in the first place.. the fresh ones just don't last as long and I always waste them! x
